13^th International Istanbul Go Open Results
28-29 September 2013

The Thirteenth of Istanbul Go Tournaments, one of Turkey's major tournaments which has been held in September or October since 2001 was held from September 28th thru 29th as an international event. Emre Polat took first prize out of 128 participants after an intense early finale at ITU Ayazağa Campus' Central Lecture Hall. Players from 6 to 71 years old met at the board proving again Go is a timeless art for all ages. We would like to thank our sponsors and all our participants without whom this gathering would not have taken place.

Istanbul Go Players' Association Founded
July 17^th 2012

Today as our application to be recognized has been granted, Go players residing in Istanbul now have a legal personality under the name Istanbul Go Players' Association.

Meeting Place

European Side

We are still in the process of finding a new meeting place. Further details will be made available soon.

Anatolian Side

As of October 31, 2009 we are meeting at Coffee O'Clock on Wednsdays and Saturdays.

Meeting times:

Wednsdays after 04:00pm.
Saturdays after 02:00 pm.

After getting to the Rexx Cinema at Kadıköy turn left into Kadife Road. About 150-200 meters into the street on the right hand side will be a white historical building (Coffee O'clock) the 3. floor is reserved for gaming.
